My name is Nellie, and my family and I are raising funds in loving memory of my sister, Loretta.

My sister had so much love for people. Her beautiful spirit and contagious laugh brought joy to everyone around her. She was the kind of person who could brighten a room just by being in it, and her presence made others feel seen and cared for.

She loved her family deeply and, even during her hardest moments, never wanted to be a burden to anyone. When she fell on hard times, she did not reach out for help. Instead, she sought shelter on her own, trying to get back on her feet quietly and with dignity.

Tragically, the shelter was full and allowed individuals to sleep outside in tents behind the building. In the freezing conditions, my sister passed away. Our family is heartbroken and struggling to process a loss that came so suddenly and so unfairly.

We are raising funds to help cover funeral, burial, and memorial expenses. Any contribution will help ease the financial burden on our family and allow us the space to grieve and honor her life.
