Stem Cell Therapy for Dean
Donation protected
My dad (Dean) has spent the last 13 years battling MS. If you aren't familiar with MS (Multiple Sclerosis) it is a disease of the central nervous system that can affect the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves. Although there is no cure, there is some hope in stem cell therapy as it can help improve a person's symptoms and slow down the progression of the disease.
To say the last 13 years have been a roller coaster would be an understatement. There have been multiple clinical trials and neurology appointments that have not been able to help in the way my dad needs. It is our hope that this will help him get back to a place where he is comfortable.
This man has never once complained about his situation. He has taken every challenge head on and has been incredibly strong the entire time. I can't think of anyone else that deserves a chance to get better more than him.
The stem cell therapy is located in Chicago and we will be travelling at the end of September for him to get the treatment. My dad is not one to ask for help so I'm hoping that maybe this will show him that the people in his life are here for him.
Any help is appreciated more than you know. Thanks in advance for the support!
