Laying a father and friend to rest

The world lost a great man today. A father, a friend and all around stand up guy. For all that knew him they would describe him as fair and beyond generous. In my own personal expirence he took me in at my lowest point and literally gave me the shirt off his back. He made me see things differently and truly made me a better person. He showed compassion and care even though he was the one who needed the care the most. We all know his son Derek Pastet a hard working well raised young man thanks to John. Through derek being what I would consider the mayor of Wallingford John met and touched many lives. I’ll never forget 50 calls a day to my phone just to ask for a coffee and company foremost. I’m making this to help with the cost of his memorial services as this came very quick and there was not much time to plan. Any bit helps it will be greatly appreciated by Derek and myself.
