One in a million Melissa

On Wednesday 2 March this beautiful mother, daughter, wife and sister will ring the bell at Icon Cancer Centre, Townsville signifying the end of 367 days of treatment. 

When they started this journey there were question marks hovering around exact staging and treatment. Despite this, their medical team saw the same love and determination in Melissa that we all see and they arrived at a united goal.. Cure. 

Despite the incredible work Melissa and her amazing team have done, this goal is no longer medically achievable as multiple lesions have spread to the brain. Although rarely spoken about, they always knew this was a possibility. These 367 days have taken their toll physically, emotionally and financially. With over $130k invested into the past year their family is struggling. 

With the focus now on quality time and living life, we’re reaching out to ask anyone who has the means to help realise some dreams and build some memories to contribute. Any contribution is welcome.
