Hi,

Our mom is the strongest person we know!

Her name is Sheryl Powell, and if you've ever met her, you know she's the one who shows up for people. She's the one who prays with you when you're hurting, encourages you when you feel down, and somehow always finds a way to help others. But right now, she needs our help!

She was diagnosed with colorectal cancer and has been fighting the good fight of faith. Not too long ago she was helping her clients buy and sell their homes, teaching fitness classes, hosting car shows, traveling, and serving her community. The diagnosis and treatments put a halt on all of the things she loves to do. It has changed her everyday life, and it has changed our family's life too.

She pushed through her chemoradiation and chemotherapy treatments like a champion and continues to push through the physical, emotional, mental and financial effects this has caused for her, for all of us.

We are so proud of our mom but we as a family also see the part that others don't always see. We see how hard this has been on her body. We've seen her exhaustion. We've seen the weight she carries trying to stay strong for herself and all of us too. It has been hard on the whole family. And on top of everything else, there is the stress of medical bills, treatments, and everyday expenses that just don't stop. As her kids, it's hard to watch someone you love fight something like this and feel like you can't fix it.

Our mom has spent her life serving people, loving people, and being here when someone needed her. She always reminds us to have faith, even in the hardest moments, and that's exactly what we're holding onto now. We just want our mom to be ok.

Your support will help our mom continue this fight with ongoing doctor visits, MRI & CT scans, procedures, especially with possibility of surgery and recovery, medical bills, and daily living expenses while she focuses on continued healing.
