Hi, my name is Helen Moore and I am fundraising for my sister Loretta Alexander.

Loretta was in an automobile accident in May, which totaled her car and caused the air bag to deploy in her face. She was bruised and sore but appeared to be recovering when she experienced a Hemorrhagic Stroke this past Saturday July 2,2022. Loretta was life flighted from her hometown hospital to the 9th rated neurological hospital in the United States. She is currently in ICU and receiving the best possible care at UC Davis in Sacramento.

Loretta is one of those people who would never ask for help. Strong and independent with a heart so full of giving to others. She and her husband Jaime raised two beautiful daughters and now are grandparents to four grandchildren. Loretta’s life work is in early childhood development and as an adult student, she earned her degree. Still searching to give of herself and her talents, she and Jaime began hosting foster children.

Now it’s Loretta’s turn to be helped. Your donation will help ease the financial burden caused by this tragedy. Loretta is just now being assessed as to the extent of the damage caused to her brain. This much we know for sure, Loretta will need extensive rehabilitation to regain her mobility and speech. The last thing the family needs is to worry about finances.
