On the week of September 6th, 14 year old Jayden Slawson of Ringling, OK was diagnosed with Stage 4 high risk invasive melanoma after being seen by a skin specialist. Her family is now working thru arrangements to have her seen at St. Jude's Children Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Due to the complexity of this situation we are setting up this gofundme account and asking everyone to please share this with everyone you are aware of. Yes, St. Jude's is free, however travel to and from Oklahoma to Tennessee expenses will become a burden. Along with the day to day living expenses at home now that the family is no longer living with a stable income. Dad will be traveling with Jayden and mom will be home with the family which includes Jayden's seven siblings. Please remember even $5 can help. Jayden is a 14year old 8th grader at Ringling Public Schools that enjoys playing basketball, softball, spending time with her friends and attending First Baptist Church of Ringling.
