Hello all, my name is Maddi and I am an athlete for Team England Adaptive Abilities Cheerleading. I have been on the team for 2 years plus Team England Paracheer HipHop back in 2018! This year I am returning to the ICU World Championships in Florida to compete for my country! If the last 2 years have shown anything, it’s how much the prices rise each year for everything such as : Flights, accommodation, entry fee, uniforms and so on. Cheerleading has only just been recognised as a sport therefore sponsorships and funding is close to nothing, as well as athletes getting no help with getting to Florida.

So I have decided this year instead of just asking for help… I’m going to be working for it.

I will be running a 5K on the 8th March. 5K doesn’t sound much? But everybody who knows me know that running is NOT my thing or something I’m good at so that’s why I’ve chosen to run, to push myself to do something I hate and earn the money you sponsor!

Anything will help whether it’s a little or a lot it’s ALWAYS appreciated. On behalf of my future self in Florida not having to worry about how much I’ve had to spend to get there… thank you❤️
