5k for TEN FE

Hello, my name is Julia Kiep and I am fundraising for a non-profit very close to my heart; TEN FE. Although it is hard to sum up TEN FE in a few sentences, I will try my best. The organization started off sponsoring kids who weren't able to attend school in a town called Santiago Sacatepequez. In Guatemala, it is very common for kids to start working around the age of 4 or 5, and they usually never attend any formal schooling. TEN FE's mission is to send as many underprivileged kids to school as possible, and in turn, generate opportunities to escape the cycle of poverty. Since TEN FE's opening in 2012, they have worked to build their own school and grow in the number of students. For more information on TEN FE, please see the video linked above.

All proceeds from this fundraiser will be going towards paying the teacher's salaries for the 2024-25 school year (in order to keep the school running), as well as the students on scholarship. To participate in the 5k, the fee is $20. If you are not willing/able to participate, any contributions are greatly appreciated! Thank you!
