5K for New Ross Care Homes

The impact of COVID-19 has been particularly harsh on our care homes. These facilities need all of the help and support they can get and they need it urgently.
United Striders Athletics Club in New Ross is organising a 5K, to be run within the COVID-19 guidelines on exercise. We ask people to walk, jog or run a 5K at 10am on Sunday April 26th and donate €10 to this GoFundMe. Everyone is asked to so within 2K of their homes and to maintain at least a 2m distance from others. We also ask everyone to take a selfie, which will be posted on the USAC Facebook page.
All proceeds will be used to support to the staff of our local care homes: SignaCare Nursing Home (New Ross), Cherrygrove Nursing Home (Campile), New Ross Community Hospital and New Haughton Hospital (New Ross)
