5K for Kano

The Kano Foundation need £20,000 to continue providing free football for kids. Due to the current restrictions they have not been able to fundraise as they normally would.
Since 2010 they have brought over 10,000 children through Parkhead’s gates. In addition to a match ticket, all children recieve a pre match hot meal and a Celtic souvenir. For many this is their first experience of Celtic Park and with the ever increasing costs of modern football, it is vital that watching Celtic remains available to all.
As we always do, the Celtic support has rallied to Kano’s cause with a number of supporters clubs and organisations pledging their support.
A few of us have decided to run/jog/walk/crawl 5k every day of Lent in order to try and raise £5,000 for the Kano Foundation. We know that many people are struggling financially just now but the price of a pint or a coffee would go a long to achieving our aim.
