No words can describe the profound pain that my family is currently going through due to the lamentable passing of my father. On Sunday, March 20th, he suffered a stroke and was put on life support upon his arrival to the hospital. Unfortunately, he had no possibilities of recovering and was disconnected from life support on Thursday, March 24th. Death is a natural phenomenon, yet no one is ever ready to see one's loved one go. In my case, I never truly had a rich communicative relationship with my father, but the mutual love was always there-- and it will continue to be there. However, it is during times like these where one wishes to go back in time and express one's love to its full extent, but that can no longer be. Hence, I urge everyone to take advantage of their loved ones while they still can; do not take one another for granted. Like the saying goes, "we don't really know what we have until it's gone." All that being said, my family and I would immensely appreciate any contributions that you all can make to help us cover the funeral expenses.
