Cancer Survivor Needs Help

Hi, we are Liz and Dea, and we are doing this fundraiser on behalf of a wonderful woman named Tara. Tara is a female HVAC Journeyman, avid pet rescue volunteer, and an overall wonderful human being.

About three years ago, she found two lumps on her breast, and when she went into the doctor, her biopsy revealed that she had stage III breast cancer. Tara immediately got a double mastectomy, and unfortunately, she got a severe infection requiring another surgery. The infection was recurrent, requiring another surgery a few months later. Her breast reconstruction then began with a fat transfer, causing more infection. This caused her to miss a lot of work, and disability only covered a fraction of her bills. If that wasn't enough, her uterine wall began to grow into her muscle, requiring a full hysterectomy. After all of this health trauma in just a few years, Tara is now at risk of losing everything, including her home, because of the major financial setbacks caused.
