Millikan High School Boys Basketball Program

Dear Millikan Community,

I am honored to be at Millikan leading the 2019 – 2020 Rams Boys’ Basketball program. My goal with the players is consistent with the effort started last year: create an environment of hard work, dedication, success, and personal pride. All these are related and intertwined. To this end, I want players to focus on these traits, their commitment, and the things that matter in practices and games, without concern for program expenses.

The players and I would appreciate your help in sponsoring our basketball program. Parents are often surprised to learn that the basketball program is not fully funded by the school or district, but as we begin the season, we need additional funds to cover expenses such as tournament entry fees, referee fees, basketballs, and work-out trainer fees. Contributions add up and make a difference.

We have 44 boys in our program, on three teams. The players have all been working hard in the fall and have been making great improvements. We are working toward a successful season at all three levels. At the end of this year, I want the 12 freshmen, 12 sophomores, 10 juniors, and 10 seniors in the program to be satisfied with their accomplishments and participation in the program. I want all players to be proud of their part in building a tradition of excellence in Millikan basketball--whether their participation lasts for the next four months or the next four years.

All of us in the Ram basketball community appreciate your support. Please come to games, watch our teams, and root for your sons, grandsons, brothers, nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbors.
