Marine Vet's Hospital Bill Fund

On April 25, 2015, my brother, Albert, suffered a stroke and a brain bleed, at the young age of 45.

True to his warrior spirit, this marine veteran has spent the last few months fighting for his life - through bouts in the ICU, surgeries, and infections. He is now in an acute care facility in Baldwin Park, CA, where he is going through intensive therapy, trying to get strong enough to return home. He will have to relearn the simple skills most take for granted - drinking, eating, speaking, walking, etc.

Albert has spent his life in service of people and his country, from deployments with the US Marine Corps, starting at 17 years old fighting in Desert Storm, to his current job as federal law enforcement, where he was deployed to Iraq as a CBP officer to train the Iraqi people in border protection. Now, his situation has put him in a position of need, although he would be more accustomed to be the one providing the help, this page is to help pay for the hospital bills that have accumulated over these months, as his insurance has not covered all the treatment he has required thus far. Moreover, his insurance has recently stopped covering his recovery altogether. 

Albert's wife, Mei, and 6-year old daughter, Angela, myself, and, Albert himself, truly appreciate any support provided, whether it be financial through this campaign, through the sharing of this site, or prayers and well wishes. The outpouring of support has been very touching. Updates to his condition will continue to be provided either here or on his facebook support page.
