Over the Holiday break, my Brother Justin ended up in the emergency room with what he thought was food poisoning. It turned out to be a lot more serious and he’s had a miserable 3 weeks filled with excruciating pain and hospital stays. He’s currently in the hospital and we don’t know when he will be released. He is in the process of getting answers and I won’t go into the details-but it sounds like he has a long road ahead him. Between the medical bills and lost work- he’s facing some severe financial strain. I’m hoping to take a little bit of the burden off of him so he can try to focus on recovery. Just a month ago he was super active- riding mountain bikes and working long hours in his construction company. As a small business owner, he doesn’t have any kind of medical leave or benefits available. Even with planning for slower work- it’s so difficult to plan for something like this! Justin is one of the toughest and hardest working people I know. If you have it in your heart to share, donate or just pray- we appreciate it.
