We are friends of the zone and are extremely worried about it's fate.

You might have known AMuzikzone as the "Art Zone" in years past. The name may have changed, but the long-time owner, Kevin Porter hasn't. Kevin is a good friend to us, a skilled musician, ready to share his craft, and a generous, patient, compassionate friend who has helped so many of us. We know who they are, you are probably one of them. For almost 35 years, Kevin has worked hard to give the music community value for their money by creating an inclusive, safe, open, affordable, non-judgmental atmosphere for performing/practicing/recording or just listening.

Unfortunately, after almost 35 years, Amusikzone has experienced an unexpected financial shock that puts it in danger. Namely, a sudden surprise utility bill. We are appealing to the friends of the zone, old and new, to help Kevin pull this amazing place out of the frying pan.

Yes, it is time for Kharma to do its thing, with the help of gofundme, (and us).

Please donate generously as you can. (Goes without saying I suppose),The sky-high amount required will be hard to reach. We are counting on the network of musicians and performers that have passed through the zone in the last 35 years to prove that Kharma is real. Feel free to leave a little message for Kevin.

So let's rally together and help Kevin keep the dream alive.

As a way of thanks, Amusikzone wants to offer all supporters that give over $100.00, a

2-hour, 3-camera, fully mixed, "from-the-floor-to-facebook-live-stream", facebook streaming session, live from the "A" room. (Room rental not included)

Amusikzone will be having an equipment sale before the Jam, on July 22, from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm, so if you have had your eye on something, or need gear, email Kevin, and get it before the public sale on July 22. ( email only art.zone at bell.net )

The Zone is also planning a fundraiser Jam. "Notes for Notes", for July 22.
