Hi, on behalf of the Lopez family, we are fundraising for Georgina Alejandra Lopez our loving sister/daughter/aunt. As many of you know she has been fighting Cancer for the last year and a half.

Georgina grew up in San Marcos California. She graduated from SMHS, Palomar College and Cal State San Marcos where she received her teaching degree. While attending Palomar College she worked with at risk youth thru the AmeriCorps program. She has been a teacher for over 15 yrs in various school districts in North San Diego County and was a substitute teacher for Temecula Valley School District. She also worked at the Library @CSUSM close to 25 years. She also attended St. Marks Catholic Church for over 25 years before moving to Temecula. She was an active member of the parish and was also a CCD teacher at St Marks and St. Mary's Church. She loved serving her community and loved working with kids and being around her nieces and nephews.

As time has gone by, we are receiving new updates on her treatments. Due to the changes of her condition, she is now getting additional treatment that is at a higher cost than expected.
