Hello all, my name is Angie. I live in Melton Mowbray and approx 1 year ago made a new friend in George, and subsequently with his owners Liz and Chris. He was very often seen around Melton, making friends, receiving affection from anyone that passed him. In early April he was involved in an incident that left requiring surgery, in which he lost a leg. His recovery has been going well but recently has been deteriorating. His latest vet visit has discovered that he needs further surgery. This has left his owners having to reassess to be able to afford it. They are both elderly, and both George and their other cat Alfie, give them love, friendship and company. I'm hoping that I can go some way to help assist with the costs of the procedure or they may have to consider the unthinkable.
