A baby of her own

If you’re fortunate enough to know Ebony, you know she is the epitome of selflessness and living life to the fullest. She has served her country for over 20 years in the U.S. Navy and is still serving!
Her plans were to do it the traditional way, you know, get married, attain her degree, have a couple children, and establish herself in her career. She was able to accomplish two of those by earning her master’s degree, and becoming a highly sought-after Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy. She realized that wasn’t enough, she wanted to be a mommy!
She has had a tubal pregnancy, three surgeries to preserve her uterus, and doctors urging her to have a hysterectomy in order to eliminate her ongoing pain. Instead she has held out with the hopes of having her very own children one day. After her last surgery the doctors broke the news that she is not able to naturally have a baby and IVF is now her only option. Her IVF journey continues…
We are desperately trying to help our sister Ebony raise enough money for her 5th cycle of IVF. For those of you familiar with the IVF process, it is very daunting, emotionally, physically, and financially. Help us, assist her in achieving what many of us have already been blessed with. Which is the gift of being a parent, and for her, the gift of being a mom.
In her life she has lived for so many, yet has patiently and silently suffered with her struggle to start her very own family. She has served her country, been an active member in her church, the community, and unconditionally loved her family and friends. Unfortunately, she is now in a position where she needs financial assistance purely to go toward medical expenses which her insurance will not cover.
This is our opportunity to love on her a little, when she needs us the most. Whether you are able to give a little or fortunate enough to give a lot, it all counts!
We truly appreciate any help you are able to provide. Please feel free to share!
