This GoFundMe is started on behalf of my lifelong friend Mandi Fenwick. Mandi was diagnosed with Metastatic Ovarian cancer on 12/13/2022. She had been having bloating and abdominal discomfort which led to multiple doctors’ visits and finally a CT scan. In addition to finding a large mass, it appears there is metastasis, (cancer spreading) to the omentum and peritoneum, which are linings within her abdomen. Mandi is retaining fluid and has immediately begun treatments to drain the fluid from her abdomen to help subside the pain and discomfort she is experiencing.

Mandi, her family and friends are ready to fight this. Mandi will be traveling to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America, located in Illinois the week of 12/27/2022. A team will begin testing such as scans and biopsies in order to identify the best treatment plan, potentially consisting of surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. Mandi is currently off work for an undetermined amount of time while a path for treatment is explored. We plan on surrounding her with strength, love and support.

Mandi has a 9-year-old daughter, Samantha, that means the world to her. Anyone who knows Mandi is well aware that she is the first one to step forward and help others in their time of need, whether that be coordinating fund raisers for her coworkers or leading her local girl scout troop. Now we are asking for anyone and everyone to please step forward and help Mandi and her family during this difficult time. We move forward together with Faith, Hope and Love
