Hi my name is Gloria Diaz and my husband Miguel Diaz and I are creating this gofundme to help our friend and teammate Troy Bosley with unexpected medical expenses.
Our newly formed co-ed team was playing our very first game Friday April 14th and in the first 15 minutes Troy was badly injured. He collided with the keeper and spun around and hit the ground. In the collision his hip was dislocated and when he hit the ground the dislocated hip fractured his pelvic bone. He was taken to the hospital via ambulance and had to have emergency surgery.
Given the nature of his injuries he will also have to leave his current job as he has to have 6 weeks of no weight bearing on his right leg.
Troy is a loving family man with a wife and 3 kids and a great friend to many different people. His family loves soccer and he’s the head girls soccer coach at Walden Grove High School in Sahuarita. He is also a volunteer coach for his children’s football and basketball teams so his absence as an active coach will be felt by many.
We’re hoping to raise as much as we can to help his family through this difficult and unexpected financial and emotional situation. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
If we make our initial goal of 5k we intend to increase the goal as we are sure the medical expenses will be large as well as the reduced income from having to quit his current job. Thank you so much for your help. The Bosley family and co-ed team AVP appreciate it more than you know.
