“Lend A Hand” To Ryan

You know that one person you can always count on to help out those in need? Well now she needs help! Ryan shattered her wrist & needs surgery.
As a single mom who spreads herself thin volunteering, helping others in need, creating a learning rich environment for her daughter, & juggling a mostly seasonal job, summer is the time of year she makes enough money to keep her & her daughter afloat until the next summer. During an ice skating lesson, she fell & shattered her wrist. Now in need of surgery, she’s unable to work during her primary employment months.
I’m making a shout-out to her collective hive to get all hands on deck to help support her & her daughter. With no insurance & worker’s comp not paying, she’s not only got an out of pocket surgery to pay for, but bills & living expenses that she’s now unable to make money to pay for... for the next year!!!!
Please consider the following ways to help... donate to this fundraiser so she can pay her bills, provide meals or easy food items (she now only has a left hand!!!), ask if she needs help with chores (she’s stubborn & wont ask), drive her to & from surgery (I live out of state or I’d do it), help out with Ra & the pets, & cheer her up! I know she’s gonna be pissed at me for this last one, but I know she has lots of artistic/musical/clever friends in Houston, so if someone wants to do a creative fundraiser for her, I’d be so grateful. It’s tough when your BFF is struggling & you live out of state.
The following is just a small list of things this chica does for others... volunteers at her daughter’s school, shaves her head to raise $ for childhood cancer, donates yoga & ice skating lessons to fundraise for others in need, volunteers interpreting sign language for the deaf community (try that with only one arm!), crochets chemo caps for cancer patients (again- needs 2 hands!), & she helped out victims of Harvey by donating her time to create a yoga & meditation sanctuary for displaced families.
Ryan is always giving. Now is the time she needs us to give back. Let’s see what we can do for her. Thanks everyone, Karyna Dom.
