Join hands for Janey

Have you ever met someone whose presence alone can light up a room? Someone whose joyful spirit can bring you joy on even the worst of days? Have you met someone whose nature is so gentle and loving that you’re naturally drawn to them? I have.

Her name is Janey. She is a loyal wife to Michael and the mother of two sweet children. She is a friend to many, a joy to all, and most importantly, a faithful servant to our Lord and Savior. The things that you read here about Janey will never do justice to the beautiful, virtuous woman of God that she is.

Friends, family, neighbors, and even strangers, we come to you today with a heavy heart and humble spirit asking that you HEAR HER STORY and do what it is that God calls you to do with it. Whether it be through prayer or a call to give, please consider how you will show love to one who has shown the love of Jesus to so many of us, in so many ways.

Her story: On May 2nd, Janey Gossett had a heart attack. Many complications have ultimately left Janey on life support and with damage to the right side of her brain. So many people have waited and watched for posts and updates on Janey’s condition so that they could continue to pray for a miracle. At one point in time the word spread like fire “JANEY IS AWAKE”. Chills is the only way to describe how I know many of us felt in that moment, as we love this woman so dearly, because she is so easy to love. If you know her, you love her. If you don’t know her, I promise you would love her.

Her condition continues to be one that is uncertain, as she was only awake for a short period of time, and since, has had other complications that left her family having to process the news of damage to the right side of her brain. Through all of this, her husband remains faithful. We see him talk of trust in our Lord and he continues to believe in her healing through our Heavenly Father. He has even asked that we pray for another family at the hospital who is going through a similar situation.

This family is faithful, and we know that God is able. He hears their cries, He hears our calls. He is a God of miracles. He answers all. We ask that you pray in confidence with us that Gods healing of Janey will be one that reveals to us HIS purpose through HER! If you are praying with us, but want to do more, there is a simple way to show love and support to Janey and her family. The reality of this situation is that the world around this family has not stopped. While their lives have come to a complete stand still as they wait upon the Lord, bills still have to be paid, their bodies still need food for fuel, and they may be suddenly burdened with costs for hotels, gas, and many other unexpected things. Let us lift this burden from our friends.
