My mother, Kimberly Carter, lost everything yesterday. Today she is trying to take some time to process and to gather a list of what she urgently needs to hopefully get herself back on her feet. This morning was one of the scariest mornings of my life. I was in bed, I heard a very loud pop, and when I got out of bed, the area behind my refrigerator was on fire. I attempted to use a fire extinguisher, but the flames were too high and my camper was warmed by gas so there was honestly no way to stop the fire once it started.

I am so thankful that I was able to get out and that myself and my dog are safe…but I lost everything. Nothing was salvageable. I am trying my hardest to keep my emotions under control but I am lost. I am thankful for all of the people who have stepped up to help me, but right now I am having a hard time to find a good side or a bright side. I lost everything and will need to restart. I have contacted the Red Cross and I am just trying to take everything hour by hour. I appreciate anything financially that can be donated to me at this time.
