Hello, my name is Stephen, and my wife Mary Ann and I reside with our cat Xena in Newton, Massachusetts. We are in dire need of financial assistance due to many reasons, including a one-month hiatus last year between losing my job and finding another one. Also, high utility bills and taking a couple of short-term loans when I was desperate and the utilities were being threatened with shut off. Not to mention the cycle of inability to escape from those horrible payday loans.

My wife has medical and psych issues that require many different meds, and I myself have had medical issues, including a recent pulmonary embolism, which threw a monkey wrench into things. I got behind on my rent ($3200) and never caught up, and my landlord is preparing for eviction. And IRS is owed a large sum because my 401k provider didn’t properly tax the amount, and I had a huge underpayment.

All funds will be used toward securing a new place to live and any extra will be put toward utility bills .

I feel embarrassed for asking for this, but I feel that there is no real alternative at the moment. Thank you for considering my plea for help.
