Help Eric Fight Stage Three Melanoma – A Journey for Hope and Healing

Dear friends and family,

I’m reaching out to share some heartbreaking news about my husband, Eric. At 56, Eric is a talented remodeler and cabinet maker, a loving father to our two boys, aged 8 and 12, 3 daughters and a devoted grandfather to five wonderful grandchildren. Our lives have always been filled with love, good health and adventure.

Eric is a jack of all trades, always pouring his heart into fixing things and creating beauty around him. However, our world was turned upside down this last summer. After a routine check on a concerning mole, we received devastating news: Eric has been diagnosed with stage3 Regional melanoma skin cancer.

In that moment of disbelief, my heart shattered. Eric has always been healthy but until recently already has faced so much— Invasive pulmonary aspergillosis, Cardiac Dysrhythmia and the toll of these health issues. Yet, he has remained remarkably positive and proactive, determined to fight this latest battle.

Unfortunately, our insurance will only cover one type of therapy. However, Eric has not given up. He has researched extensively and found an alternative treatment at the Envita clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona, which is renowned for helping patients achieve remission. We believe this is Eric’s best chance for survival, but the treatment comes with a staggering price tag of $180,000.
