Hello, on 7/19, my brother went on a walk and found a kitten on the sidewalk. He brought the kitten home because it looked injured and dehydrated. Since then, I’ve noticed strange breathing, two legs limp (1 leg in the front & 1 in the back), a wound on his foot (abscess), one permanently dilated eye, and no movement in the tail. I took the kitten to the vet today, 7/21, and was told he has a fractured leg and fluid near his lungs. The vet thinks he might’ve been struck by a car, causing neurological trauma and a fracture. He is only about maybe four months old. My heart is set on keeping him.

I know it will be very costly, and it already has been with just the appointment itself (medication, x-rays, etc.)

I plan on getting his leg amputated; I feel it’s the best option since I viewed his x-ray photo. Anything you donate will be very much appreciated. Please share.
