This is Sharla, my ex-wife and dearest friend. She passed away very suddenly this January after she was hospitalized unexpectedly.  Sharla had a big heart and was always ready to help out those in need, no matter whether they were a close friend or a complete stranger. She was a regular volunteer at Feed the People events, giving out free hot meals to the homeless.  Sharla battled depression and anxiety most of her life and because of that, she couldn't stand to let anyone suffer.  She even posted her phone number on facebook this past Christmas along with an open invitation for anyone who was feeling alone during the holidays to give her a call anytime.  That was a personal inspiration to me and I know she took more than a few calls to help talk some folks through their own rough patches.  The loss of Sharla leaves a big hole in the hearts of all who loved her, especially her two small boys, Xander (4) and Tristan (7).

With Sharla's passing happening so quickly, her family needs help to cover the costs of her funeral arrangements, so I set up this page for them. Your donation would be greatly appreciated and of tremendous assistance to her family in this difficult time!  Any funds left over will be held in trust for her sons.
