Kari Lynn Coleman Family Assistance

My sister Kari Lynn was involved in a very serious car accident. She was a passenger. The car lost control and they were hit by a semi truck. No fault by or injury to the semi truck driver, the driver of the vehicle is also unharmed. Kari is currently at ORMC in ICU. Only immediate family are allowed at this time. Kari is in a medical induced coma due to skull fractures to her right side and swelling, Broken ribs and fractured nose. Prayers are very much needed!!! She is currently hooked up to monitors to check for seizures and brain activity. She's not supposed to be stimulated for 24 hours. She is on a breathing machine. According to the doctors she should be breathe on her own but they think because of the brain swelling, she's just not. She's not married does not have any kids and she's only 29 years old. My mother and I am all that she has. My sisters father had a similar accident so my mother is reliving this all over again. He passed away when my sister was very young. Right now my mother and I have to make all the decisions for her. We are never ones to ask for help but this is beyond our limits. We need assistance for gas to and from ORMC and assistance with my mother staying at the Hubburt House near the hospital. The Hubburt House is a great organization that allows family members that are in critical condition to stay there at a reduced rate of $40 a night. My mother would be allowed to stay get transportation to and from and she is also provided three meals a day. My sister has no medical insurance. I do work and I am trying to provide as much as I can. This is probably one of the hardest things that I've ever done. I want to thank everyone for their support and love and prayers!
