Spende geschützt
When you see a special couple in love you know it. That’s how people think of Jack and Shavon, best friends who did everything together and #couplegoals! Our good friends, the Stewarts, could sure use help from a community of family, friends, and well-wishers!
Early on January 1, 2022 morning, Jack and Shavon were involved in a terrible car accident. In fact, they were hit by 2 vehicles. Shavon was injured, needed surgery, and required a one-week hospital stay. She has recovered physically and is now back to her admirable workout routine. Jack took the brunt of the impact, was airlifted, placed in an induced coma, required surgery and an extended hospital stay. Thank God, Jack is on the road to recovery. He is now fully conscious, communicative and is still undergoing intense physical therapy.
Shavon has been a dutiful wife attentively overseeing his care all while balancing home and work too. She is truly honoring her vows! Jack is scheduled to be released from hospital #4 this week after 4.5 months of observation and treatment. Their 7year old son is eager to see his dad for the first time in 2022.
We are so grateful to see the progress that Jack has made and want to continue to support the Stewarts as he continues to recover. Because he will have a powerful testimony about the goodness of God! We can't wait to see him loving his wife and family, bowling, playing basketball, being an awesome brother and friend, and telling others about the goodness of the Lord!!
This is where the village comes in. All insurance coverage has been exhausted and Jack still has ‘a ways’ to go. Their home will need to be outfitted with the proper staff to make home visits, and medical equipment to ensure his comfort and aid in his therapy for the weeks and months ahead.
We don’t know how long the recovery will be, but we hope to be a blessing to them along the way.
Your generosity to support #TeamStewart is so appreciated!
