Jason Stephanik, of Monroe, NY a college sophomore at SUNY Geneseo, and member of the Ice Knights hockey team.
Jason has been hospitalized at Strong Hospital and upon examination it was discovered that he suffered a fracture to the back of his skull, and his frontal lobe was bleeding. Consequently, he has suffered from periodic seizures, and his speech has been gravely affected. The cause of Jay's injuries are not entirely known.
As of Nov. 1, 2015 he has shown some signs of progress by walking with little aid. He is facing a long road in which we are hopeful he fully recovers. We are starting this GoFundMe to alleviate some of the medical expenses his family is undoubtedly going to incur. They are going through a very difficult time and we are asking for your support, donations, and prayers.
