Meet Max!!
This is my 5 year old nephew Max. Because of complication during pregnancy Max was born when he was only 26 week (gestation) and had to spend 3 months in NICU. After numerous tests doctors found substantial brain damage on both sides of his brain resulting in a condition called cerebral palsy. Max is now 5 and cannot crawl on all four, sit unsupported, or walk. Socially and cognitively Max is totally on track, which we thank God every day for with all our hearts. Max’s mom and dad have devoted their lives these past five years to explore treatments that will actually heal the damaged brain tissue.
This December they are taking Max to the International BioCare Hospital and Health Center in Tijuana, Mexico. There Max will undergo a week of testing, treatment, and healing. The International BioCare Hospital has developed a treatment, especially for Cerebral Palsy patients, which will take Max’s blood stem cells and reintroduce them into the brain to regenerate and facilitate healing of the damaged areas in Max’s brain.
We need your help! Please join us in prayer for the success of Max’s treatment that this will truly be the miracle we have been praying so hard for. We have also set up an account to help relieve the financial burden of this treatment on his parents. Any donations in his name will be greatly appreciated. They are trying so hard to save enough for this trip but still need our help to get there.
