Update 11/6/2025: A recent update is that Sharonda (sister) now has full custody of all of the children and they are now residing with her in Georgia. The family is in need of more help for transportation and to assist the children with getting into therapy. Any help you can provide is much appreciated!

On December 7, 2024, Taheerah White, of Somerville, NJ sadly passed away in her home in upstate NY at the age of 39. She was found unresponsive by her fiancé and children, and subsequently pronounced deceased. She is survived by her 9 children, fiancé of 8 years, grandmother, Ms. Catherine, and younger sister, Sharonda White.

Taheerah was the primary caregiver of her elderly grandmother, as well as a hardworking mother dedicated to providing for her children. Her unexpected passing presents extreme hardship and the family is humbly and graciously asking for assistance to pay for funeral expenses, as well as provide financial assistance for her children. Taheerah’s 9 children, ages ranging from 3-16 years old, will temporarily be placed in the custody of their only aunt, Sharonda.
