Hi my name is Erin! My niece Victoria was severely injured in a car accident sometime between 8 and 11pm Wednesday night when she careened off the road and struck a large wooden fence. Her car was found around 100 yards off the road hidden in the brush early Thursday morning by a jogger. She was rushed to the Medical Center of the Rockies where she underwent surgery for a traumatic brain injury and collapsed lungs. She is out of surgery and finally breathing on her own. But doctors are unsure how long it will be before she will wake up. They are saying it could be a day to possibly months with how severe her injuries are.
