On October 2nd, Derek gained his wings and was called home. Derek had a heart of gold, a smile of pure joy, and his kindness extended to all he knew. Derek, a father, son, brother, cousin, nephew and friend, leaves behind many loved ones near and far. He also leaves behind his 2 beloved daughters, Yamani and Gianni who he loved and cherished more than the anything in this world. We are confident that Derek was greeted at the gates of Heaven by his brother Leaford, who preceded him in death. Our family is asking for donations to help with expenses for Derek’s final farewell into eternal peace during this extremely difficult and heartbreaking time. All donations will go directly to Derek’s mother, Mary Noon. Any remaining donations will be placed into a trust fund for Yamani and Gianni.
