Help Luke Find Cancer Treatment!

We saw our friend, Luke Schneider, at CancerCon this past weekend, a conference for young adult cancer patients and survivors, and were alarmed to learn that he is running out of treatment options. Luke is only 32 years old and has been battling Stage IV melanoma. He desperately needs to find a treatment that will save his life.
We (Aerial, Jay, Mallory and Stephen) are all cancer patients/survivors and CancerCon veterans and every year, we are thrilled to see old friends and to be with a crowd of people who understand exactly what we’ve gone through. CancerCon is a massive reunion where we celebrate life, shared experiences and the lives of those members of our CancerCon family who are no longer with us.
In the midst of this celebration, it’s painful to see our friends who have late-stage disease, knowing that they may not be with us next year. There is nothing worse than losing a member of our amazing CancerCon family. We are eager to help these members our community, but to date, there’s been little we can do other than to provide them with emotional support and encouragement.
For the first time, there’s something we can actually to do help Luke and others in our CancerCon family who are running out of options. We are launching this campaign to rally our CancerCon family around Luke and to help him find treatment options. Driver, a startup company that helps patients find all of their treatment options at 30+ of the top cancer centers in the U.S., attended CancerCon this year and we’ve got to help Luke get their service. They will simultaneously evaluate Luke for treatments (including clinical trials) at each of these cancer centers and Driver’s team will give Luke high-touch, personalized support along the way. Once Luke chooses a treatment and cancer center to pursue, they will quickly schedule an appointment for Luke to put him on the fast-track to getting the best treatment.
