Hope for Heiden













This is Heiden, also known as Hunka. Heiden is 4 years old and loves all things Star Wars! He is the son of Zach and Ali Spilman and has an older sister, Abby and a younger brother, Asher.

Heiden has been diagnosed with an aggressive but treatable form of Leukemia, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Best case scenario, treatment will take 2 1/2-3 years, consisting of weekly trips to Little Rock for the first 6 months as NWA Children’s does not have the specialty equipment he needs.

Heiden’s immune system will be compromised during this time and will be unable to return to childcare until at best a year from now. Both of Heiden’s parents are school Teachers and both siblings are in school and childcare, therefore a big priority is that they are able to keep their family and environment as healthy as possible and are able to provide the best nutrition throughout the process.

Please consider helping and blessing this precious family through prayer and finance, as they have a long journey ahead of them as they start chemo and treatment.

Zach and Ali have a firm foundation of faith rooted so deeply in Christ and are fully proclaiming and believing in God’s plan of full restoration and complete healing for Heiden.
