Caring for Colleen. My sister and I have started this to help our mother. Earlier this year she was diagnosed with stage 3 Breast cancer. She has been strong and is fighting a good fight but on September 21st she has to have a double mastectomy. While taking the medication she has been able to work but after the surgery she won’t be able to for an unknown amount of time. We are doing for her what we can but we need help. Our mother has been a nurse for 25+ years and has cared for not only her family but lots of others. It’s what she loves to do. Sadly now we have to ask others to help care for her. On top of not being able to work she has to stay in Rochester after the surgery which insurance does not cover. We know everyone struggles from time to time but please help us reach our goal and Care for Colleen.
