The Herrick family needs our help! Father and husband, Randy Herrick has been in the hospital for a month now, fighting to beat Covid and associated pneumonia.
Randy first went to the hospital in Sandusky, MI, but his blood oxygen was so low that he was immediately sent by helicopter to Beaumont in Royal Oak. He was put on a ventilator on 11/24 to help his lungs heal. On 11/28 he had to be fully paralyzed because he was fighting the ventilator. We are hopeful that we see some significant improvement in the next few days.
His wife, Krista, and two children, Joey and Hope, are staying close to the hospital at a rental house. Since Krista is not working, they have no income coming in.
Even once Randy is well enough to go home, he will most likely have long-term lung issues that may prevent him from working.
The Herrick family needs assistance with housing, bills, food, etc. The last thing they need is to worry about right now is money and every little bit helps.
For immediate assistance, funds can be sent directly to Krista via PayPal. This will allow her to buy food, which is not cheap in Royal Oak.
