Hi there, i'de like to introduce you to Zeus my dads incredible dog he is a 5 year old Rottie cross and one of the friendliest cuddle monsters you could ever meet!

Now for some context about this fundraiser;

My dad has always had rescue animals and rescued Zeus when he was 14 months old where he was in a very poor state of health needing operations on both his ears and hind leg. So due to no insurance policies accepting Zeus (due to existing conditions) my dad exhausted every penny and saving he had to have the operation done on Zeus' ears and start him on medication to manage his leg condition until we could afford the surgery.

My dad nursed him back to health after his first op and gave him a permanent loving, safe and secure home with my little brother. Unfortunately soon after this events took a turn for the worst and my Dad suffered a nasty heart attack where Zeus actually saved my dads life by alerting local neighbours to his collapse. Since then my dad has been left with severe health issues that affect his daily life yet Zeus remains by my dads side as his permanent protector. Dad often ignores his own debilatating health in favour of looking after Zeus and making sure he's not in pain which includes living on the breadline to afford Zeus' monthly medication. My dad would be the first to admit that Zeus has saved his life more times than Zeus is probably even aware of and now all he wants more than anything is to save Zeus from an early death as he wont see him in pain or suffering any longer.

Zeus unfortunately slipped off the door step in the winter and tore his right hind leg ligament and so together as a family we purchased an orthopedic leg harness for Zeus hoping it would delay his legs deterioration in time for us to save for his much needed operation. This however has not helped as we had hoped due to the severe muscle wastage Zeus now faces on his back legs preventing him from wearing his harness as well as the increasing daily pain of moving around. We have spent countless hours searching every charity and resource available towards the cost or any help for Zeus at all but this has sadly been to no avail. Which is why we are here now asking for help towards the cost of his life saving operation.

The operation itself (A TPLO crucial ligament procedure) is priced at £2378.65 and the overnight after care necessary with this is priced at £2434.90 although this unfortunately doesn't include the rehabilitation programs after. We know its a lot that we're asking for especially in todays world but please take a minute to think of Zeus and my dad who face the toughest of situations any pet owner can have.
