Jennifer,Clarence and Pretzel need help, PLEASE!!

**Edit**
Hi everyone. I hope everyone is safe and warm today during this icy cold snowy/rainy weather.
Today is 1/6/24 a new year and really praying for a new start in life for Jennifer and Clarence and, of course, the cutest, loveable, humongous pup, Pretzel. They've been blessed with being able to stay in the extended stay for so long and they've been more than grateful for this situation. Jennifer was almost set to get her first surgical procedure done January 10 th. Unfortunately, Jennifer has developed a severe UTI which is now being treated with strong antibiotics. It will be up to the surgeon to make the call whether to postpone or go ahead with it. We're hoping her infection is under control sooner than the 10th. Hoping to hear something Monday the 8th! She's really bummed because she was looking forward to getting on the road to recovery. What a looonnnnggg process it's been since late October when we started with doctors, specialists, hospitals, surgeons, etc. Just keep them in your prayers are we try to continue to help this couple. This has been my mission from the start and I won't back down until I see it through. Although we all know it tales a village. The village has been AMAZING this far. Please continue to share and donate if you can. Each hotel stay is $116. We also need help with a cosigner. They each do have their own foodstamps and each get SSI. Although Jennifer is getting interim benefits until completion of approval, she's getting something to help. They put money on their own room when they get paid. But it doesn't last more than a week. BGE assistance for low income families doesn't open for another 3 weeks and she will be calling JFS (Jewish Family Services) Monday for utility help or whatever they can apply for. Please don't give up on them. Let's help them get into this studio apartment ASAP. I wish I could cosign but I don't qualify. Please pray for another angel to come along and help us with any more ideas in helping them find their own home to rent that they can afford, so they, and Pretzel can thrive!! Thanks for everyone's help! I never imagined being the one to get deep into something like this but my mission means alot to me and to them. They're very special to me and I care about them like family!

11/6/23....as the holidays approach I know this is going to be tough. Disappointment, sadness and depression is setting in..

Jennifer's appointments are just around the corner November 14 and 15th. She'll be getting her tubes in her kidneys checked and making appointments for surgeries. We've ran out of funds for their hotel stay and now it's crunch time. Still looking for housing but having Pretzel is a big problem for them. Any of us that know how hard it is to give up your baby will understand that it will just make their situation worse for their mental health. We've gone apartment hunting and looked at a room for rent but nothing is available nor affordable at this moment in time. I am just so upset because I want her to heal properly from her surgeries! There are cheaper extended stays but the reviews say ant infestations, roaches and bed bugs, and that is something that cannot be while Jennifer is healing from infections. Please consider helping out just a little bit longer as they go through the hardest days coming ahead. Thanks for everyone's generosity thus far! It's been quite a journey but they're trying the best that they can to keep their spirits up but it's getting very difficult. They're very appreciative for everything!!!!

Me again! Jennifer, Clarence and Pretzel are hanging in, but funds are shot. I'm using these funds night to night for their stay. We're still working on housing but no luck yet. If anyone knows of anybody renting out a full basement to live with their sweet dog please ask around. They're very scared and worried because of Jennifer's journey to health and healing depends on shelter. Please keep coming together and helping them with their stay at Home2Suites. I'm trying to talk to GM to see if we can pay monthly here with his disability check until she gets her SSI, but it's tough and very stressful. I hope they can get back on their feet and Clarence, then, can get back to working again. It's depressing, feeling so helpless, but taking care of Jennifer is his top priority. I brought over some toys and treats for Pretzel and he's the happiest sweetest dog. A joy yo be around. He helps them get through these hard times for sure. I'm posting a picture of him with the Kong Tennis Sweaky Ball he just got tonight. He's loving it. Thx again to everyone still helping this strong family. We've become family as well and I love them and want the best for them and Pretzel! Please pray for some more time for this couple because I want to see them come out of this on top. Every little bit helps. We appreciate all of you still following up to check on them.

Update for Everyone!!! Jennifer is home and healing from her surgery. She's got a long ways to go between all the specialized doctors we need to see! As of now, they have to check out of the hotel and will be BACK ON THE STREETS THIS FRIDAY 10-27-23!!
PLEASE SHARE THIS GOFUNDME! Golden Arms is still hunting for a permanent home for them and I wish they'd hurry up. We're supposed to hear from Jayden tomorrow but I'm so worried that Jennifer will be on the streets if he doesn't come through!!! We need more funds to stay in Home2Suites at least until Jennifer can heal and get to her check up in 2 weeks! But still after that she has to have part of her parathyroid removed and also has enlarged left ovary with a cyst and follicles or something that need to be checked. As well as seeing a cardiologist for her A-Fib. Please if you can spare anything for this lovely family, it would mean the world to all of us trying all we can do to nurse her back to health and to find them a permanent place to call home at least before Thanksgiving comes! Thanks again to everyone who has been donating because it's been an enormous help for them! They hold a very special place in my heart and I cannot bare to see them and Pretzel who is as happy as a clam stay out there in the cold!!! Love and blessings to all!! ❤️

Update as of Oct 23rd...
Jennifer is still hospitalized at GBMC for mainly her kidneys, she's got many other issues but can be dealt with after she gets discharged. As of right now, We're running out have run out of money for hotel stays and if Jennifer gets out before Golden Arms can find them housing, she must be sheltered to heal from this kidney surgery. She's got a long ways to go because they still couldn't get the old tubes out but she does have a new set of tubes put into a different area of her kidneys to help drain. She will need to see a certain Urologist that specializes in complicated kidney stone issues in order for them to take the old tubes out. They tried to get them out but failed since tissue had grown around tubes and I'm worried the infection will not go away unless it's done. Dr Dunn is who they requested her to see but no clue her first name nor what type of specialist she is to even make appt Asap. She running 3 weeks-3 months in scheduling patients and that's too long for what Jennifer needs done. I'm asking if you can please share this gofundme page on your page in hopes to raise enough money to keep them getting back into the streets. Pretzel can't be out in the cold and I'm worried !! Anything helps..I really appreciate all of the donations thus far and we just need to keep them sheltered so Jennifer can heal properly. Please pray that they are going to find housing very very soon. We've come too far to have them put back out there!! I'm praying and I'm asking everyone else to as well. Thanks to everyone who's supported them through this tough time!! Let's keep going until they get a home to call their own. THANK YOU FOR READING!!

**update**
Jennifer has been in the hospital since last night at 730pm, after many hours in the waiting room we went into the back at 4:30am. She finally got admitted and will be staying for a bit recovering from some infections in her kidneys. She's going to have to go to a rehab facility for 3 months once she's discharged. We have the social worker helping them find housing as we speak through a program called Golden Arms. He's been looking for housing for them since yesterday. Jennifer's has had 3 brain scans in a row due to possible strokes. She's running a fever today but has new tubes put in and we'll need to see the Urologist to get the old tubes out because they couldn't get them out. She's been a warrior through all of this but TOMORROW IS HER BIRTHDAY! She'll be spending her birthday in GBMC but I'm hoping to be able to celebrate some how or celebrate once she gets out. Please continue to pray for Jennifer and Clarence and Pretzel as they go through this obstacle. I'm just so happy I am able to advocate for her..I cannot imagine having no one with her last night. It wouldn't have been good but she's happy with the staff at GBMC. They're treating her very well. Thanks for your continuous donations as it's helping them sheltered at least through Monday. Praying they find them a place to call home soon. Much love and appreciation to you all xoxo. JAMI

Hi Everyone. First I'd like to thank everyone in the community, family, and friends who have helped Jennifer, Clarence, and sweet Pretzel thus far. But I we still need your help! They are currently staying in an extended stay at Home2Suites and have 8 more nights there. I am out of gofundme money But we are getting a decent discount for medical purposes and working with Lifebridge. I know we're going to need more time because finding permanent housing isn't a quick and easy thing. I'm working tirelessly, daily in order to make this difficult time easier. I am a one woman show doing all the drs appts and grocery runs and donations and all. We've called section 8 for the homeless and are trying to get in there after we set up stuff online. I really appreciate any and all help.
They are supposed to check put 10/19 and the 20th is Jennifer's BIRTHDAY!! I don't want her to have to celebrate her birthday being back out on the streets since her health is not good at all right now. We've got Dr appts set up and will ask for case worker to help but I'm really in need of donations towards hotel because she cannot heal from all her procedures being out in this weather. They do get food stamps, and are also on Medicaid and Clarence gets SSI.

Mainstreet Vet has been super generous in vetting Pretzel and vaccinations and meds for a very low cost but we still need to pay and I wish I had it , but I don't. So, I'm asking everyone to please help whenever and whatever you can, even a $5 donation helps! So that we can at least get Jennifer well, if she even has to go back out on the streets. She'll never be able to heal. She suffers with an autoimmune disease and much more! The weather is effecting her body tremendously. I'm a one woman show doing the best I can, working tirelessly daily and trying to make their life a better one. She's waiting to hear if she's approved for SSDI and they do have food stamps and Medicaid already. Clarence already has SSI. But he cannot work until Jennifer is well again, but is definitely going to work. He has a job waiting for him when he can start there, but housing is our #1 priority at the moment, along with getting Jennifer the Healthcare that she desperately needs. We've got many more calls to make in looking for housing but they all need to stay together which I know makes it harder but they truly need eachother because Clarence does have some health issues as well and they take care of eachothers needs. I'm their rides to and from anywhere I can and I really just need some more funds until we get all of Jennifer's health problems under control and/or fixed. Any amount helps $1, $5, anything!! It all adds up and I made this my mission to get them this help and I need my friends family and community's help still. I have put my life on hold because they are very special to me and have become like family. We've had incredible people come together with donations, getting Clarence free eye exam front the one and only, Dr Brian Granek. Clarence will soon be able to see which is AMAZING!

Pretzel is in need of:
*Purina One chicken and brown rice, canned food.
*he LOVES the Beef jerky and chicken jerky dog treats!! He's on a bunch of meds but he's such a good boy. He eats dry kibble of Blue Buffalo Life Protection Formula

Clarence is in need of the following:

*XL boxer shorts or Large boxer briefs
* Thick Hoodie sweatshirts in XL
*Long sleeve tshirts in L or XL
* fitted baseball caps, no wide brims please
*pj pants flannel or fleece XL
*XL fall/winter coat that isn't like the carhartt coats that we have been donated for winter. More like a puffy jacket or something more movable for this season.

Jennifer's needs:

*winter coat or fall kind of coat for this milder chilly weather. Any puffy or soft movable coats in an XL would be great.
****size large pj pants flannel or fleece are great since she's anemic and cold all the time. She is taking iron pills that everyone has donated and is back on her HBP meds and taking the cranberry supplements that someone gave to her to keep her UTIs under control.
* XL sports bras are needed as well, comfy ones please for Jennifer

●Other great options for donations are as follows:
Gift cards to Walmart, Marshall's, TjMaxx, Burlington and even grocery stores but they do have food stamps so most importantly monetary or gift cards are greatly appreciated. I'm sorry to be asking for so much but I need more time to line up housing and calls to places. Juggling between my business and family and animals, it's making it hard on me but I am very passionate in what I'm doing for them, that I cannot stop! THANKS FOR READING THIS FAR! I know it's alot! I appreciate each and every one of you for helping. PLEASE PLEASE CONTINUE TO SHARE ON YOUR PERSONAL PAGES FOR ME. The quicker and faster I get all the help I need, the quicker I can start taking care of myself. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
