Edwards Family Tragedy
Donation protected
I'm creating this GoFundMe for my older sister Kathleen Edwards.
I think the hardest part about creating this GoFundMe is recalling why it is needed in the first place. Kathleen has been through so much in her life. As a disabled combat veteran who lost her caregiver and life partner; to becoming a single mom trying to survive, find justice for her late husband, advocate for better Mental Health resources for Veterans, and also losing her son; my sweet nephew.
I would like to help with some financial support for her because of these tragedies she has endured she is now dealing with financial hardships. I am asking for donations to also help raise awareness and shed light on Gregory Edwards and his preventable death.
On Monday (12/10/18), Gregory Edwards was pronounced dead, How? Only details we got at the time was that he was arrested on Sunday and now he's dead. Greg was an Army Combat Veteran, he lived by the Army Values, he sacrificed his life for our nation, and when duty called he was there. He was an amazing brother, husband, and father.
Donate to help our family find justice for Gregory Edwards. His untimely death has affected our family and the Veteran Community, and we need answers! Sheriff Ivey (from Brevard County) needs to do better instead of making veterans feel like criminals for having mental health issues and having wellness checks on veterans who are not suicidal or in need of their assistance.
