News ReportAfter several days of worrying for my daughter, I was advised by a church member to file a police report. To my unfortunate surprise when I arrived at the Jersey City Police station, the officers presented me with devastating news. I came to give information about my child but when I gave the description of what she looked like, the officer showed me what would be the last picture of my daughter.
The last time I saw her alive and well was Wednesday November 9th at our Jersey City home. The officer then told me that she was found deceased in a dumpster 2 miles away from home with no identification or phone. She sat as a Jane Doe for several days prior to when I arrived to the police station Wednesday morning. She was my youngest and only daughter, she was loving, kind, free spirited and extremely creative. She just turned 18 on June 6 and she was a committed and proud member of the LGBTQ+ community. This fundraiser is to raise money for her home going ceremony. In memory of Lucka Maherling Joseph.
Published by her cousin Berline Bazile on behalf of the mother of the deceased.
