Grady woke up Monday morning running into the bathroom saying mommy my chest hurts crying, and he said I need a drink of water, within 15-20 minutes he was throwing up all over the bathroom floor....blood sugar being 469, we immediately rushed to ER at St. Joe's and after blood work was drawn, Grady had low blood platelets and low hemoglobin, he was transferred to Akron Childrens Hospital where the doctor in the ER externally examined his organs and said he had an enlarged spleen, after a chest X-ray and ultrasound and more blood work, Grady was admitted. Next day he was sent for bone marrow draw, and the smears from the procedure confirmed Grady has (ALL) Leukemia. He is a Type 1 diabetic, has celiac disease, and now has Leukemia, it is mind blowing how strong our little boy is, and we know he will fight and win the battle of cancer!! It is just heartbreaking to watch him go through all this!! He will have a long road ahead his treatment will be a long 3 1/2 years, with FIVE chemo drugs to start.This was my sisters post on Facebook I am reaching out to help them in anyway possible please donate to help them they are the most loving strongest parents and this has been hard on them..
