Help Mir Daad Khan's Family with Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
Mir Daad Khan Abduli was an SIV who arrived, with his wife Parwin, to Maryland 2 years ago. Their 7 children were unable to evacuate with them. Advocates have worked hard for the past two years to try to reunite parents and children. Finally, progress was happening, and on 6/1/23, Parwin traveled to Afghanistan to be with the children because CARE will soon be evacuating them to Albania. Tragically, on 6/2/23, Mir died alone in his apartment in his sleep.
Mir worked hard at a Walmart loading/unloading section to be able to set his family up for success in America. He and Parwin worried about their kids for 2 years and longed to be reunited with them. It is emotionally and financially devastating to the family that he has passed away suddenly and they will need to survive in the U.S. without him.
Please consider donating to this fund so that Parwin can pay off the costs of Mir's funeral expenses and help her children have basic needs once they arrive in the U.S. All proceeds will go directly to Parwin and her children.
