Sheena went to the ER with shoulder and stomach pain on April 8th. After numerous tests and blood work she was immediately admitted to the Oncology floor at Thunder Bay Regional Health Centre and was given the devastating diagnosis of Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia. She received a blood transfusion immediately and Chemotherapy was started the following day.
Given the hospital stay, undetermined length of treatment, costs related to treatment, and sides effects of chemotherapy Sheena will be off work for an undetermined amount of time.
It is hoped this FUND will help cover some of the costs associated with her time away from work and alleviate some of the stress. Please send positive healing thoughts and prayers her way. We will continue to send updates her progress. Thank you for your support and please share this campaign.
