This is Crystal Schaefer. She had a rough week recently.
At the same time she lost her father to Pancreatic Cancer, she also found herself diagnosed with Breast Cancer. We will let her explain in her own words:
Her fathers passing means the family has to sell the house. The very home Crystal lives in. That means she has to move.
She can't work due to the pain in her chest and the time off needed to get treatment. She has to travel for treatment. She has an intense routine of self-care that is required for both her physical, mental and emotional well-being. She has hit a wall.
If you don't know Crystal personally, we're sorry. You should.
She is a light of love in the darkness of human experience. She is a kind, giving, caring and generous spirit. She has spent so much time and energy reaching out and helping others. She has volunteered months of her life to AmeriCorps, feeding homeless, coat drives, awareness campaigns and most recently as the facilitator of a childhood trauma support group.
In short, she spends her life in the service of others. Most less fortunate than ourselves.
We feel the least we can do as good humans is to show this amazing soul that her efforts are not unnoticed, that she is loved and respected, that she matters to us and that we are willing to help. Please consider a donation. Every $1 counts. And PLEASE, even if you can't give money, share this page everywhere you can. Thank you and Gaia bless you.
