In early February of this year my Dad, Ronnie Jones, had a routine gallbladder removal surgery. During which he contracted a strain of strep which caused a bacterial infection. The infection got so bad so quickly that it attacked any weak spots in his body, his spine, his kidneys and the worst hit was his heart. The infection attacked his valve that he had replaced two years ago. Part of the infection that was on his heart sluffed off and went to his brain causing him to have a stroke in his brain stem. He had to have his valve replaced again and has been in the ICU since February 26, 2017. As of May 10, 2017, we were told that the chances of him making any type of recovery from where he is now are very slim, and that we should start preparing for the worst.

My Dad was the sole provider for my parents, he worked at the same company that he loved for 25+ years. Together with my Mom he raised 7 wonderful kids and now has 7 wonderful grandchildren. My Mom spends everyday at the hospital by his side, they've been best friends and married for 36 years.

With him out of work the bills are beginning to pile up and my family needs help. We need help with the expenses that he has now as well as those that are going to come. All donations will be going directly to them.
