Caleb Ochoa Memorial Fund
Donation protected
I am a friend of the Ochoa family. I am starting this gofundme to raise money to assist their family members in traveling here for the service, feeding them while they are here, and to help offset memorial costs. Thank you for your amazing generosity to this sweet family!
Here is a post that Caleb's Dad wrote on facebook:
The Victor's Crown.
James 1:12 Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.
It is with great sorrow, grief, regret and a greater hope that we share with you the passing of our beloved son Caleb Ochoa. Caleb went home to be with his Creator, Savior and God. Words cannot express our sense of loss and sorrow.
Caleb's life was filled with struggle, trial and difficulty along with joy, optimism, grit, strength, heart, and hope in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Caleb lived life with love for all of his family, friends, co workers, jujitsu teammates, and his church family. Born with only half a heart he lived life to the fullest, and with heart 10x normal.
Caleb loved to paint, draw and shared his art with those around him. He was always a friend to those who had no friends. His heart overflowed with compassion for the hurting, the hungry, the homeless and did indeed give the clothes off his body to help those in immediate need. He cared for the unborn and others with born with challenging circumstances. He had a never give up attitude that was contagious, and it was evident in his passion and love for jujitsu and competing. But most of all he loved his family, his mother Angie Ochoa, his bothers and sisters, and his Grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins and his dear friends who he would also consider family. And lastly he loved sharing his story and his love for Jesus Christ and the Amazing Grace which he loved to sing about and delighted in.
I cant express how grateful and blessed I am for him to call me his Dad.
Caleb's favorite verse was Philippians 4:13" I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Caleb, I am certain now can do all things, and he has received the true Victors Crown, the Crown of Life in the presence of The Lord Jesus Christ.
We pray for all of you, his friends, family and ours too. May the God of all comfort, peace and hope comfort and help us all as we grieve together and remember Caleb.
